of the International School of Geneva.
FOTIS – Friends of the International School of Geneva – is a
non-profit association created by members of the International School
of Geneva community, including alumni, to help young people in the
developing world to complete their education. With the help of
volunteers from humanitarian organizations, children who would
otherwise not be able to go to school are identified and guaranteed an
education in an appropriate local school. The educational and personal
progress of each child is closely followed by a mentor who oversees
his/her needs and serves as a conduit between FOTIS and the school.
FOTIS is committed to providing tuition, room and board, books,
supplies and uniforms to each child as necessary. All profits from
FOTIS are used to cover these costs.
